Dear Customer,

We are investigating an incident that seems to involve multiple upstream providers going offline in Oregon.   We are investigating issues with both Cogent and Lumen.   We hope to have a resolution shortly. 

Timeline:

At approximately 12:43AM pacific time our NOC was alerted to multiple alarms in our Bend, OR POP. We immediately began investigating, and paged our on-call network engineers.

At approximately 12:50AM pacific time our NOC determined a network issue with both Cogent and Lumen. Tickets are in with both providers.

At approximately 12:54AM pacific time our on-call datacenter technician was paged, as the network engineering team was unable to reach any routing equipment.

At approximately 01:22AM pacific time our on-call datacenter technician arrived onsite.

At approximately 01:27AM pacific time our network engineering team was able to engage/enable a tertiary backup circuit while we await resolution from both Cogent and Lumen. During this time there may be packet loss and slower than normal services. We will update this network status once we have any further information to share from Cogent and/or Lumen.
